BALOU DU ROUET By
Baloubet Du Rouet - Continue - Domino The crowds favorite at all his appearances. His gaits are equipped with maximum elasticity and completing an excellent Stallion Performance Test, he was awarded top marks for jumping, 9.5 and 10.0 by the ‘foreign judges'. He promptly won his first jumping competition with ease. His impressive rideability is of great importance for his future development in his sporting and breeding career. Sire Baloubet du Rouet, at the moment one of the most successful jumping stallions on the international stage (three-times World Cup Champion in a row, winner of many Grand Prix’s, recent winner of the Top-Ten-Finals in Geneva), has an exceptional pedigree. Grandsire Galoubet is son of the great stallion Almé. On the dam’s side, through Rantzau, he is directly related to the founder of the bloodline ”Cor de la Bryere” from Holstein, the likeness can be seen in Balou du Rouet’s jumping style and ability. His stunning dam, Georgia is by the increasingly popular Contender son, Continue. He emphasizes his dominant quality as a producer in type, elegance and movement with numerous foals, who at various auctions have all been sold for above-average prices. Balou du Rouet, our promising prospect for this year’s National Young Horse Championships.

Rotspon (Hanoverian) 1995 black 16.2 hand Hanoverian Rotspon is another top quality son of the dressage stallion Rubinstein I. He was the sovereign winner of the stallion performance test in 1998, scoring an excellent 148.82 points in the dressage category. Like his father, Rotspon is a very impressive horse with a great rideability, outstanding movements and a high ability for dressage. He also has a good jumping technique which is highly above average. He is an elegantly made sire in a noble black coat with a lot of expression and appearance. The first offspring of Rotspon were born in the year 2000. The foals have beautiful heads and a good conformation (long sloping shoulder, long well set up neck). They are equipped with a very elastic trot and a ground covering walk, and have been very much in demand. At the prestigious Ratje Niebuhr-Show of 2002, Rotspon was the second most successful sire represented, with only his first crop. Both the two and three year old classes were won by his daughters, with the two year old becoming the youngest champion in the show's history. Rotspon has begun creating his own branch of the Rubinstein I dynasty with many approved sons and daughters, as well as high-priced auction horses and stellar performance horses.

Toronto (Hanoverian) 2000 bay 16.2-1/2 hand Hanoverian Toronto is a Dutch stallion acquired by the Celle State Stud to further the jumping talent of the breeding program. His performance test single score in jumping was 9.3. The powerful bay stallion descends from the jumping horse producer “Now or Never,” who is stationed in Holland. Toronto's grandsire is the prepotent Voltaire, a consistent sire of international jumpers with temperaments of gold. The damline is very interesting: the sire of Toronto's dam is Belisar by Saros xx, which is a full brother to Swazi xx, the sire of the Trakehner stallion Consul. Much is expected of this harmonious, powerful-looking young stallion who has had his first successes in jumping horse ability classes.
